Confession...I'm not a smoothie lover, but I've decided to give them another try. All week I've been mixing my SUNWARRIOR vegan protein powder with different fruit/veggie combinations.
So far my favorite is:
a cup of coffee
a scoop of vanilla protein powder
one ripe banana
a teaspoon of Moon Juice Brain Dust (this is a blend of herbs, adaptogens, and minerals)
a teaspoon of cocoa powder or Cacao
crushed ice
water, if needed
You can add greens like kale or spinach, and avocado for healthy fats, and fresh mint leaves.
Smoothies are a quick and easy way to get nutrients into your body, especially greens and herbs that have a strong flavor! When I first tried the Moon Juice blend in water...yuck!
But it's great in this smoothie, you don't even know it's there, and the adaptogens in there really help with memory and brain function.
